一、意思不同：

educational是有教育性质的，education是有教育意义的。

前者一般是客观的判断，比如an educational system一个教育体系。后者一般是主观的判断，比如某个动画片是否对孩子有教育意义，要根据内容和情节来判断，每个人都有不同的看法，如果认为有，就可以说是an education cartoon.但是an eduacational cartoon也是对的。

二、词的感情色彩不同：

1、educational修饰的事物有中性有褒义的也有贬义褒义的。
